Now that you have added some media to your project, you can use that media to create visually-striking pages like Splash.

Most projects in Scalar use Splash or Book Splash layout as the homepage to create a virtual “front cover” for the book. To add a splash image to the project’s homepage, select Home from the top left drop down menu of the Back to book page. Select the edit button (pencil icon). Add the project title in the Title field (this can be changed later).

Go to Layout tab at the bottom of the page and select Splash or Book Splash.  In the  Styling drop down, select the Key Image from the media you have imported.

Select Save and View to load the splash image onto the homepage.

Book Splash is very similar to the Splash layout, but it also displays the author name.
